Social Media Marketing Internship (Fall Semester)
Position Overview:
We are seeking ambitious and creative individuals to join our team as Social Media Marketing Interns for the Fall semester. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, focusing on promoting a fashion app across social media platforms and in real-life settings. Interns will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies aimed at enhancing brand awareness and user engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop innovative marketing campaigns.
- Assist in creating a comprehensive social media marketing plan tailored to the fashion app’s target audience.
- Execute social media campaigns across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
- Support efforts to promote the fashion app through offline channels, potentially including events and partnerships.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and apply them to our strategy.
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, or recently graduated. Preferably studying marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, particularly social media marketing and influencer marketing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with a knack for generating engaging content ideas.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices.
- Previous experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital advertising is a plus, but not required.
Details:
- Location: Remote (work from home).
- Hours: 10 hours per week, flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments.
- Duration: Fall semester (September – December).
- Compensation: $17 an hour. (course credit available if applicable).
